Before embarking on a project, always mark the top of the fabric in some way (I use a small piece of coloured thread) this avoids any confusion over which is the right way up, if you happen to abandon your project for any length of time.

Always put your coat on before answering the door.. that way you can either be "just rushing out" or "just got in" depending on who it is!!

 

Don't let your daughter build you a website.... or you'll have no control over what she decides to write!!
